When given genuinely, compliments are the perfect confidence and mood booster. Sometimes compliments are how things get started; that is, on a date or at a party, and noticing an item of jewelry might be the perfect conversation starter.


Showing appreciation for what someone is wearing can be particularly meaningful. Especially when it relates to jewelry.  When a person chooses to accessorise with jewellery, they have subconsciously, made a decision about what complements and enhances their style.

Our style, clothes and accessories say something about us and give others a chance to notice us.  We wouldn’t purposely wear what wouldn’t be compliment-worthy.

A genuine compliment on a piece of jewellery opens a conversation in a safe and non-invasive way.

Jewelry is as an artistic and creative expression. 

Often the jewelry people wear has a story behind it.  It might have been inherited from a beloved relative, given to mark a special occasion, purchased to mark a personal milestone, or found in a grandmother’s attic. 

These stories relating to a specific piece of jewellery like a special engagement ring, a sentimental necklace, or an unusual earrings can make for an interesting conversation starter.  

Most jewelry, no matter the retail value of it, is priceless when it comes to sentimental value.  And sentiments are deserving of our respect.
