Hello, I’m Iris.

I'm not your ordinary jeweller—I wear many hats and love to carve my own path. Simply put, I'm a jeweller who finds inspiration through my drawings.

When I'm not busy in my studio (which is quite rare), crafting beautiful jewellery or letting my imagination run wild with new ideas, you'll probably find me striking a yoga pose, taking leisurely walks along the beach, or getting lost in an intriguing podcast.

The inception of inSync design was born out of my own desire as a consumer. I was on the hunt for jewellery that was truly unusual pieces that were impeccably crafted, defied the norms, and had a price tag that didn't break the bank. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and bring that vision to life.

I find inspiration in women who exude confidence, embrace their unique style and always seek originality. These inspirational women take joy in expressing themselves through inSync's unmistakable signature style, clever construction, and organic forms.

Over the years, my work has received multiple accolades in the design world and has graced the pages of prestigious publications. It's even found its way into some of the most renowned museums across the globe, including the V&A in the United Kingdom, the National Gallery of Australia, MoMa in the USA, and many more.

"My ethos has always been to craft handmade pieces that are collectable, made to last and designed to be passed on."

For more than two decades, I've been creating contemporary jewellery from my cozy studio nestled in Melbourne. Drawing from my background in graphics, silversmithing, and sculpture, inSync design allows me to constantly push boundaries and explore new ideas and techniques.

As a maker, I'm committed to minimising my ecological footprint. I carefully select materials that not only stand the test of time but also possess a timeless appeal. I take pride in creating pieces of lasting value, considering their functionality, recyclability, and durability.

I'm truly humbled to have garnered several international awards, and it's been an absolute thrill to be featured in prestigious design books, newspapers, magazines, and even television. Being represented by top galleries and museums worldwide is an honour I hold close to my heart.

At the core of my work lies a steadfast ethos—to craft handmade pieces that are not only collectable and built to last but also designed to be passed down through generations, carrying stories and memories along the way.
