Hi, I’m Iris.
I started inSync in Melbourne in 2007 from a simple desire to create wearable art that felt thoughtful, distinctive and genuinely personal.
At the time, I wasn’t thinking about building a brand.
I simply wanted to create.
Over the years I realised something interesting.
Women were not only collecting inSync pieces.
They were reaffirming who they are.
Again and again, collectors would tell me the same thing.
“Someone stopped me and asked where I found it.”
That moment fascinated me.
Not because of the attention.
Because of the connection.
Because a thoughtful object had created a conversation.
Because a woman had expressed something about herself without saying a word.
I’ve always believed wearable art belongs in everyday life.
Not hidden away for special occasions.
Not saved for later.
Real life.
At dinner tables.
In boardrooms.
In creative studios.
On city streets.
On ordinary Tuesdays.
The women who are drawn to inSync are often curious, creative and thoughtful.
They love books, architecture, travel, design and beautiful objects.
They don’t like looking like everyone else.
They value originality over trends.
Many tell me they love bold jewellery but aren’t always sure they can pull it off.
That’s where I hope inSync can help.
Not by changing who you are.
By helping you express who you already are.
Every piece begins as an idea.
A shape.
A shadow.
A colour.
A conversation.
A moment of noticing.
It becomes wearable art designed to be lived in, collected, enjoyed and loved.
I’ve always believed thoughtful details matter.
The best experiences are often made up of small moments.
The unexpected ones.
The memorable ones.
The ones that make you smile long after the moment has passed.
Over time, I realised inSync was becoming something more than wearable art.
It became a world.
A world shaped by creativity, design, architecture, travel, stories and the women who collect the work.
A world built around the belief that the most interesting thing a woman can become is herself.
