Sometimes our preference for gold or silver jewellery may not necessarily complement us best. So which colour should you choose? - That depends on your skin undertone.

Cool undertone looks best in silver and white gold.

Warm undertone’s best choice will be yellow gold.

If your skin undertone is olive or neutral, you are lucky, as you look great in both colours!

How to determine your skin undertone? - simply look at the colour of your veins on the inside of your wrist or elbow.

The lighter your skin colour - the cooler your undertones are, while darker olive shades have a deeper, more golden undertone.

Cool skin tones have blue veins, with purple shades. (Celebrity examples: Anne Hathaway, Adele, Nicole Kidman, Taylor Swift)

Warm skin tones have green veins, with yellow shades. (Celebrity example: Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian, Eva Longoria)

If your skin appears to have a bit of both, or it is difficult to tell, your skin undertone is most likely to be neutral. (Celebrity examples: Emma Watson, Jessica Biel, Jennifer Aniston, Sandra Bullock)
