Welcome to Creative Reflections

For over twenty years I’ve been designing contemporary jewellery.

People often ask me where my ideas come from.

The truth is they rarely begin with jewellery.

They begin with observations.

A beautifully balanced chair.

A shadow moving across a building.

The way an object feels when you hold it.

The relationship between colour, material and form.

Over the years I’ve realised that the jewellery is only one expression of a much larger conversation.

A conversation about beauty.

Craftsmanship.

Creativity.

The objects we choose to live with.

And why some of them stay with us for decades.

Creative Reflections is where I’ll share those conversations.

Some begin in the studio.

Others while travelling.

Many never become jewellery at all.

They are simply ideas I’ve gathered over many years of making.

My hope is that they encourage you to slow down, notice more, and perhaps look at the designed world around you a little differently.
